The stunning views of the valley, the village and the mountains... more
Sainte Foy Station lies at 1550 metres above the village of Sainte-Foy. Sainte-Foy is on the road from Bourg St Maurice to Val d'Isere. The village comprises new and old chalets made to traditional designs with wood and stone.
The village sits on an escarpment which faces South West and which offers fabulous views of the valley. Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and La Rosiere are all within easy reach for those who prefer multi-resort skiing, but you will always be able to return to the beauty and tranquillity of Sainte-Foy and its friendly restaurants and bars.
If you are eating out, try The Bergerie or La Maison a Colonne, or just go for a Pizza in one of the local bars or restaurants. If self catering, there is a great little supermarket in the village with everything you will need. It even has a cashpoint machine!
Whichever way you turn, all these facilities are within two minutes walk of the chalet.

Sainte-Foy is known as the "Jewel of the Alps", although the owners often refer to it as the "Salcombe of the Alps"! Ranked as Number One Best Resort by The Sunday Times (September 2006), it has extensive and uncrowded on and off piste skiing to suit all types of skier. With a local ESF ski school, mountain restaurants, a lovely, traditional village and beautiful scenery, it is much written about as THE place to visit.
If you want a mountain guide, try the Bureau des Guides de Sainte-Foy. Contact Christian (Kiki) Emprin on +336 80 42 58 61 or email him at christian.emprin@cegetel.net. He will take you where you want to be!
Sainte Foy can be accessed by plane to Geneva, Lyon or Chambery, and by train to Bourg St Maurice, which is less than half an hour away.
