LOCATION

The La Turche area of Les Gets occupies a commanding position above the town with spectacular views across the valley to Mont Chery. This is one of very few genuine ‘ski-in and ski-out’ properties in the Portes du Soleil and its position simply can’t be bettered. Halfway down a gentle blue piste, the chalet is accessible on skis for all but the totally inexperienced skiers. In the morning, you have the choice of skiing from the back door down to the village to catch the high speed 6 man chairlift, or taking the drag lift that is 50 metres away to the top of the mountain in order to open up the vast slopes of the Portes du Soleil region. Non-skiers are not stuck either as the free resort bus service runs every half an hour from its terminus outside the front door! When the lifts close the area becomes very peaceful. The sun-trap veranda overlooks the slopes and is the ideal spot for an après-ski drink, whilst children will be able to play safely on the piste in an area that is just perfect for sledging! The free bus service runs until 8:30 PM and offers an easy way home for those who prefer to enjoy après-ski in the town centre.

FACILITIES

This stunning property on the slopes of upmarket Les Gets is available for the first time this winter following a complete renovation (more pictures to be added when available). It has underfloor heating throughout, 3 en-suite bedrooms, each with powerful and relaxing showers, and a bunk room that will accommodate 2 extra people. The living and dining space are an equivalent size and better equipped than many larger chalets, offering first class relaxation facilities such as comfy sofas, a large flat-screen TV and a bar area with an honesty bar system, all for a group of just 6 – 8 people.

Our service includes the delivery of a breakfast hamper every morning to your doorstep, allowing you to enjoy fresh bread and patisseries in your own time and in privacy. Our host will prepare delicious home-cooked meals for you on 5 out of 7 nights, and we also provide an evening of traditional Savoyard fare at the restaurant ‘Maroussia’ across the road. How better to experience a raclette or fondue than in a restaurant owned by a family that have been preparing such feasts for generations?!
